A high-power charging demonstration
In a joint demonstration, BMW Group, charging network IONNA and charger maker Alpitronic reached charging power of up to 460 kW. The companies tested how the vehicle, charging station and software work together.
What the test establishes
BMW described the result as a demonstration, not as the launch of a customer charging network. It points to the development direction for high-voltage architecture and future BMW charging systems.
