Operating the website
Opening a page sends the server your IP address, the requested URL and technical browser information needed to deliver content, diagnose problems and protect the site. Our view counter stores a total for each article; its data file does not contain names or email addresses.
Data in your browser
Your chosen language, favourites and service preferences are stored locally in your browser. You can remove these records in your browser settings. Your cookie choice is saved for 180 days; a view marker lasts for the browsing session.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load after you choose “Accept all cookies”. Analytics helps measure page visits; Clarity helps understand page interactions, including clicks and scrolling. Choosing “Essential only” does not load these services. Change your choice using “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the site.
Learn more: Google cookies and Microsoft Clarity data collection. These providers process data under their own policies.
