Wilfried and Günther Manhart founded MANHART in 1986 as a BMW repair workshop in Hückelhoven. The business gradually moved from repairs to its own parts and power upgrades, then to complete cars carrying the MH designation. Today it combines tuning for modern BMW M models with builds based on classic BMWs. The portfolio also includes other marques, but BMW remains central to the company’s story.
